IWSG - Words & Photos

It's the first Wednesday of November, so time for the Insecure Writer's Support Group.

Created by Alex J. Cavanaugh, the IWSG gives writers a place to express their insecurities and lend support to their fellow writers.

The co-hosts this month are Diedre Knight, Lisa Buie Collard, Kim Lajevardi, and JQ Rose.

The optional question this month: What creative activity do you engage in when you're not writing?

I love photography. Some day I should really take a class in it, but time is not limitless. I can't even pretend to know how many photos I will take when I go to England and Scotland next summer, but plan on being inundated!

Some photos from the last year, a mix of coast, desert, and mountain:

I had other things to talk about, but you know what? I'm leaving it there for this month.

May you find your Muse.

  1. Those are really beautiful. You have a good eye.
With digital photography, I predict you will take a thousand photos! Been there twice and there is so much to photograph!

  2. Those are beautiful. I love the one with the rock in the foreground and the bigger rock in the background.

  5. Those are some really nice photos. You definitely have the eye. I'm another who does photography for fun (and I love having a blog so I can share the photos). I do a few other things, too, but I think photography is the only non-writing creative outlet at which I actually work. Music and drawing/painting, I just do them and don't worry about quality :)

  6. Those are some really nice photos! I think it's really neat that you'll be going to England Scottland! Two really fascinating places.

  7. Your photos are stunning! You might find a class helpful, but you've already got a talented eye, so just keep snapping.
